The development of Digitrade started in 1996 under the brand WebTrade. BASE consist of functional components for managing different profiles, product catalogs, product find, sales and marketing related presentation of product information, shopping basket, ordering, order history, administration and more.
Integration consists of functional components for managing integration between Digitrade and business applications. It contains standard procedures for import of customers, product information, price conditions, available stock, customer orders and export of customer orders. It also includes an API framework for online requests for price and delivery confirmation.
SEARCH includes Apache Solr search engine. Using this module you will quickly and easily find the products you are looking for. If you get too many hits you can use a number of filters to zoom in on products till you find the one you are looking for. The Query Completion feature will suggest search indexes while you key in your search item. Boosting is also available to emphasize certain products above others.

CMS is a module that enables creation, managing and publishing of content. Content could be small-targeted messages to individual users of Digitrade, news published to all users or long articles including text and images published to larger groups of customers. If you want Digitrade used more as an extranet solution with a lot of content handling we recommend the Open Source content management application eZ Publish that easely integrates to Digitrade.

PIM – this module adds Product Information Management capabilities to Digitrade. With this module you can add, manage and publish additional product information to products presented in Digitrade. The content can include anything from additional attributes, images and documents to audio and video. Also, new product structures and catalogs can easily be built and published in Digitrade. For more advanced and flexible PIM we offer C4 Contexture from our partner UDK. C4 Contexture supports multi channel publishing. You can publish product information to websites, print, eCatalogs and so on, all from the same source - one central product information database in your company.

Catalog Management – this module offers capabilities to build as many product catalogs you wish and present them to specific users, user groups, customers or customer groups. The structure of the product catalogs is independent from existing structure in existing business applications (ERP etc.). The catalogs can be generated automatically based on attributes, built manually or imported from the PIM module.
Assortment Management – this module offer capabilities to build as many product assortments you want and assign/authorize them to specific users, user groups, customers or customer groups automatically, either based on set rules or done manually. The products assortments are presented to the user in Digitrade as is or through product catalogs (see Catalog Management above) and can be generated automatically based on attributes, built manually in Digitrade or imported from the PIM module.
